Make your own beautiful Soap and Lip Balm
It's an ideal activity if you're looking for a fun, mindful, and hands-on experience where you can craft something lovely to use at home or give as a thougthful gift.
Guided by an expert maker, you will discover the art of soap-making in a relaxed and welcoming environment. You'll learn how to design and create custom soaps from scratch using clear melt and pour soap (SLS and SLES free) along with a wide range of botanicals, minerals, and oils to tailor beautiful soaps to your exact taste and mood. We even have a selection of different moulds, so you can get truly creative - fancy a Christmas tree-shaped soap that smells of roses and geraniums? You can make it here! This workshop is a wonderful way to enjoy a mindful escape from busy life and is perfect for enjoying solo or with friends.
After making your soap I'll guide you through how to make your own lip balm.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and is perfect for those looking for a fun social event while still creating lovely items to take home.
At the end of the workshop there will be time to individually gift wrap each soap, making them perfect as gifts and even better as a treat for yourself.

I recently took part in the Oilme Soap & Lip Balm Workshop in Wakefield, and it was such a great experience! The session takes place in a purpose-built workshop space which creates a really welcoming and creative atmosphere.
One of the things I enjoyed the most was the wide variety of all-natural fragrances and ingredients available to use. We were able to experiment with things like red clay, honey, oats and beautiful natural scents to create our own unique soaps and lip balms!
We learned how to make cold process soap and it was fantastic to leave with all the products we made ourselves. The instructor was amazing, calm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Everything was explained clearly with easy to follow instructions, so even absolute beginners like me could feel confident to create their own product.
The workshop lasts around two hours, but it doesn't feel rushed and the instructor makes sure everyone has enough time to finish their soaps and balms, making the whole experience relaxed and very enjoyable.
I definitively recommend this workshop for families, groups of friends, special occasions, or simply as a lovely treat for yourself! It was a fun, creative and rewarding experience and I will book again very soon.
